El Museo Del Barrio is New York's only museum that focuses solely on the artistic works and diversity of the Latino culture. Collections at the museum feature over 8,000 pieces of art and artifacts from the Igneris (pre-Columbian) people, Puerto Ricans, Chileans and Brazilians. The museum is located north of Mt. Sinai Medical Center on the west side of Central Park.
Open Wed. - Sun., 11:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.; Closed Mon. - Tue.
Adults $6; Students and Seniors $4; Children under 12 are free.
